Nike literally throws out all the stops on this head nod to the classic Nike Cortez where it all started. We see stop sign insignia near the heel with retro nike branding derived from the Steve Prefontaine stomping grounds of the early 1970’s. The raw cutting on the tongue exposing the yellow foam is a dead giveaway to the throwback era. Peep the extra wide swooshes on the side as well. This classic iteration is sure to not last long in the hands of retailers.
