Only a month into 2017 and Jordan Brand gives us the nod that they will be playing no games this year. The Air Jordan 12 “Chinese New Year” is a celebatory shoe but also sort of new take on the classic Jordan 12 “Taxi” that MJ rocked in 1997 for the Bulls. The upper is dressed in quilited white Leather with a black woven texture leather on the toe and mid-foot. We see a contrasting wooden textured light orewood brown piece near the lateral mid-foot and top lacing eyelets. Chinese lettering on the tongue and insole of the shoe are the big giveaways when telling this shoe apart from its 90’s predecessor.
