Originally previewed by Carmelo Anthony, the Jordan 31 XXXI “Shattered Backboard” is another colorway that draws inspiration from the Jordan 1. The shattered backboard colorway is a concept that we have seen more than once on the Jordan 1 already, drawing inspiration from the time early on in Michael Jordan’s career when he shattered the glass on a dunk in a game overseas.

On the “Shattered Backboard” 31 we see the toe start out in an orange starfish color on the flyweave material and it transitions into black and then back into starfish on a leather heel and ankle panel. A contrasting black Jumpman logo is featured on the ankle and finally the shoe is set off by a gum outsole.
