Marking the end of an era and the transitioning to a new, the Nike Kobe A.D. represents a change of the guard and what it will be like in the NBA without Kobe wreaking havoc in the league. The Nike Kobe A.D. “Black & White” is a simple and classic contrasting design utilizing a manufactured synthetic black upper with black Flywire technology as added support. We see white swoosh branding on the medial and lateral sides of the shoe with a metallic mirror finish midsole on top of an all white ruber outsole. A white Kobe logo is set off on the tongue by the contrast of a black leather tongue. The emblazed “Mamba” imprint on the heel tabs pops the shoe off in red.

The Kobe A.D. is the 12th silhouette in the Nike Kobe series, ditching the number system of 1-11 when Kobe was playing. The Kobe AD boasts a Lunarlon midsole that pairs nicely with a unique Zoom unit in the heel piece for ultimate comfort on the hardwood. Synthetic mesh and Flywire technology provide a lock down support that is needed in a basketball shoe.
